About the performance:
On February 7, please join us for Object Permanence, a live music performance in response to Gregor Hildebrandt’s exhibition Blau im Gedächtnis (Blue in Memoriam).
Object Permanence is a conceptual performance that blurs the boundaries between art and music, focusing on the act of recording as both a performative and sculptural gesture. Live performances will be recorded onto vintage 1/4" reel-to-reel tapes, creating unique objects that pay tribute to Hildebrandt’s use of recorded media.
